Our story

Hi, I'm Joanna.

I started Lava Corners after I bought a sofa online that looked gorgeous in the photos and arrived a disaster, uncomfortable, poorly made, impossible to return without a fight. I promised myself I'd only ever sell sofas I'd be happy to put in my own home, and that I'd look after every customer the way I wished I'd been looked after.

You won't find a massive catalogue here. We're not a dropshipper, and we don't sell mass-produced sofas shipped in from Asia. Every model in our collection is hand-made in the EU, and I've personally selected and tested each one before it goes on the website. Our range is deliberately small, because I only want to offer sofas I genuinely stand behind.

Every customer gets a personal call from me before their sofa goes into production. That call is your opportunity to ask anything, change anything, or cancel completely if you have changed your mind. Nothing goes into production without your confirmation. That is my promise.
