Free delivery across Ireland
Every sofa order includes free delivery to your front door anywhere in Ireland. No hidden charges and nothing extra at checkout.
A small additional charge may apply to very remote areas. If this affects your address we will always contact you within 48 hours of your order before arranging anything.
How we keep costs low for you
Our standard delivery is to your front door, and that is how we keep Lava Corners sofas priced the way they are. Most furniture retailers include in-home delivery in the price without telling you, which means you pay for it whether you need it or not.
With us, you only pay for what you actually need.
If you would like your sofa carried inside and placed in your room, we offer an in-home delivery service for an additional charge. Just let Joanna know when she calls you after your order and she will arrange it and give you a price.
For standard front-door delivery, please have two adults available on the day to carry the boxes in.
Measure before you order
Sofas arrive in separate boxes, each one smaller than the assembled sofa. Before ordering please measure your front door, hallway and any internal doors on the route to your room. You need at least 75cm clearance at every point.

Please check your boxes carefully while the driver is present. If anything looks damaged on arrival you have two options: refuse the delivery, or accept it and write the word damaged next to your signature on the delivery paperwork. Take photos straight away and contact us at welcome@lavacorners.ie or 086 214 6318 and we will sort it out.
Once the delivery paperwork is signed without any notes, we treat the order as delivered in perfect condition.

We want you to love your sofa from the moment it arrives.
Before production begins
You can cancel free of charge and get your full deposit back. Joanna calls you personally on the next working day, that is your moment to change anything or cancel with no cost and no questions asked.
After delivery
If you ordered in a Standard fabric you have 14 days to let us know if you want to return it. The sofa needs to be unused and in its original condition. A €149 collection fee applies and is deducted from your refund.
If you chose a Family Friendly or Plush Comfort Velvet fabric, that upgrade was made specifically for you. This is exactly why we offer free fabric samples, so you can touch and feel the fabric at home before you commit to anything.
If anything arrives damaged or faulty, we fix it. Repair, replacement or refund, always at no cost to you.

Before you order
Order free fabric samples so you can see and feel the fabric at home in your own lighting before committing.
After you order
Joanna calls you personally on the next working day. This is your opportunity to confirm every detail, ask any questions or cancel free of charge before production begins.
If something goes wrong
If your sofa arrives with any damage or manufacturing fault, contact us within 48 hours and we will repair, replace or refund. Your rights under Irish consumer law are always fully protected.

We stand behind every sofa we sell
Every sofa comes with a 24-month warranty from the date of delivery. If something goes wrong with the frame or spring construction, take a photo and email it to welcome@lavacorners.ie with a short description. We will review it and get back to you. No lengthy forms and no call centres.
If a repair cannot be done at your home we will arrange collection, have it fixed by the manufacturer and deliver it back to you free of charge.
A few things that keep your sofa in great condition
- Use scissors carefully when unpacking, keeping blades away from the fabric
- Lift the sofa when moving it rather than dragging or pushing it
- Keep it indoors at normal room temperature
- Do not overfill the storage box
- Do not stand or jump on the headrests, armrests or backrests
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers manufacturing faults in the frame and spring construction. It does not cover everyday wear and tear, accidental damage or damage caused by misuse. This is standard for any furniture warranty.
Please note that because of foam fillings, final measurements may vary by up to 5cm from the dimensions shown on the website.

Colours on screen can look slightly different to the real thing depending on your monitor settings. That is exactly why we send free fabric samples. Order yours and see the fabric in your own home, in your own lighting, before placing your order.
