About corner sofa beds from Lava Corners
A corner sofa bed is the single most useful piece of furniture you can put in an Irish home. By day it's a generous corner sofa for the family; at night it pulls out into a real double or king-size bed for guests. The under-seat storage swallows duvets, pillows and toys.
What separates our corner sofa beds from what you'll find on the high street is the mechanism and the mattress. We only stock models with bonnell or pocket-spring sleep surfaces, not folded foam, so overnight guests get a proper night's sleep. The mechanisms are German or Italian, built for occasional sleeping use, and covered for two years.
Most of our corner sofa beds ship with a 140 × 200 cm or 155 × 200 cm sleeping surface, which is wider and longer than a standard Irish double. Storage capacity is typically 350–500 litres under the chaise. Side (left or right corner) is your choice and is set when you order.
