Why Joanna chose this sofa
Hello, Joanna here. Elza I is the most compact corner in the Elza family, and I think it is a lovely choice for a medium sized Irish living room. At 281 cm wide and 188 cm deep it gives you a proper corner to curl up in without taking over the whole room, and the three adjustable headrests let you sit up straight or lean right back for a film.
I love the little details on this one. There is an open bar with a handy shelf at the end, great for a cup of tea, the remote or a book. The chaise is actually a separate pouffe that clips on, so you can use it as a lounger or pull it away as an extra seat when friends call over.
When guests stay, it turns into a proper bed with a 213 x 129 cm sleeping area using a simple dolphin mechanism, and there is a roomy storage box underneath for duvets and pillows. The seats are filled with firm T-30 foam, so it keeps its shape for years, and the height is 90 cm with the headrests up.
Elza I It is made in Europe, delivered free anywhere in Ireland in 4 to 6 weeks, and you can reserve yours with a €299 deposit. It comes in left or right hand versions at no extra cost, and if you would like to see the fabrics in person first, I am happy to post you free samples.
